Looking for Architectural Services?

To hire a professional for your project in Ontario, you must look for a Practice rather than just an individual member. By law, an SLVSA member can only offer architectural services to the public if they hold, or are employed by someone who holds, a Certificate of Practice (CoP).

How to Use the Directory

  • Find a Practice: Search for firms authorized to provide services.
  • Verify Credentials: Check if an individual Architect or Licensed Technologist is currently affiliated with a CoP holder.
  • Neutrality: Please note that the SLVSA provides this data for transparency but cannot make specific recommendations.

SLVSA is a Local Society of the Ontario Association of Architects committed to the promotion of architecture in the St. Lawrence Valley region.

Founded in 1889, the Ontario Association of Architects is a self-regulating organization governed by the Architects Act, which is a statute of the Government of Ontario. The Association is dedicated to promoting and increasing the knowledge, skill and proficiency of its members, and administering the Architects Act, to serve and protect the public interest.
